Jsontell — Terms of service

No legal entity has been registered yet. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this document describes the intended relationship and technical limits of the service.

What this service is

Jsontell is a diagnostic tool for inspecting HTTP responses and JSON data. Given a URL, it fetches the response, attempts to parse the body as JSON, and reports structural errors with exact line and column information. Given pasted JSON text, it parses the text in your browser and reports any parse errors.

It is not a validator, a linter, an API monitor, or a security scanner. It does not store, cache, or replay requests. It does not crawl, follow links, or retry failed endpoints.

Use of the service

You may use Jsontell for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

Use the tool to probe or attack systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
Submit URLs designed to cause excessive load, including rapid repeated requests.
Attempt to bypass any technical limit of the service.

No accounts or stored data

Jsontell has no accounts, no user database, and no persistent storage. There is no way to create an account, log in, save results, or receive communications from the service. There is no email sender and no contact form.

No warranty

This service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The diagnostic output is based on the tool’s best-effort analysis of the data provided. It may be incorrect, misleading, or incomplete. You use it at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Jsontell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Service availability

The service is hosted on a Cloudflare Worker with no uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable, rate-limited, or modified at any time without notice.

Billing and subscriptions

No payment processor is connected yet. The checkout form on the pricing page is a demonstration only. No real payment is taken, no subscription is created, and no access is granted. This section describes the intended billing model for when a payment processor is connected.

Plans and prices (intended). Jsontell offers three tiers:

Starter — free, no payment required.
Professional — $9/month, billed monthly.
Enterprise — $29/month, billed monthly.

Each plan grants access to the features described on the pricing page for the duration of the billing period. Starter access is not time-limited.

Billing period. Professional and Enterprise subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly cycle. The first charge occurs when the subscription is created. Subsequent charges occur on the same calendar day each month (or the last day of the month if the day does not exist).

Failed payment. If a payment is declined or fails for any reason:

Stripe’s automated retry system will attempt the charge again on days 3, 5, 7, and 14 after the initial failure.
If payment has not succeeded after the fourth attempt, the subscription is marked as unpaid and access to paid features is suspended.
The customer’s account reverts to Starter-level access. No further charges are attempted until the customer provides an updated payment method.

Refund policy. Because no legal entity has been registered yet, no refund commitment can be made. The intended policy, once a payment processor is connected, is full refunds for any charge made in error or for any subscription cancelled within 7 days of the initial charge, with no questions asked. This is a statement of intent, not a binding promise, until the operator registers a legal entity and formally adopts these terms.

Cancellation. Subscription cancellation is always available. Cancel at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remainder of a billing period (except as described under Refund policy).

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction is specified because no legal entity has been registered yet. The operator will supply the jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone.

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. The current version is always available at this URL. Since the service has no email sender, no notification of changes is possible.
